Marc Trestman learned his fate with the Chicago Bears on Sunday night after an embarrassing 9-13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. The firing of Marc Trestman isn’t surprising to those in Chicago or those who follow the Bears who quickly saw Trestman reign as head coach of the Bears go from bad to ugly. The recent spat between starting QB Jay Cutler and the offensive coach just seemed to concrete the ending of the Trestman era in Chicago. At the same time Trestman learned his fate it was also announced that the San Francisco 49ers and Jim Harbaugh agree to end their partnership.
Trestman record as head coach ends at 13–19. The Bears also announced Monday morning that GM Phil Emery has indeed been fired also.
