Duck Dynasty: ‘Trying to figure out’ if being gay is a choice

The TV show “Duck Dynasty” is no stranger to controversy when it comes to the stars of the hit reality TV show making comments about the LGBT community. Willie Robertson added his two cents in during an interview with Larry King where he said that he was “trying to figure that out,” whether or not being gay or lesbian is a choice that individuals decide. “I’m not the judge. God’s going to be the judge, so it’s not my job to convince people to change their lives,” he added.

Robertson previously defended his father, Phil, who was suspended from A&E following his rant last December comparing homosexuality to bestiality and his musings on African-American life in the South.

His remarks come just days after another famous TV personality weighted in on the LGBT community, Pat Robertson (no relation), the host of the Christian Broadcasting Network’s “700 Club” this week said homosexuals “will die out because they don’t reproduce.”
