Landmark Communications is out with a new poll in Georgia that finds David Perdue (R) and Michelle Nunn (D) are both tied in the race for U.S Senate, 46% to 46%.
The poll also looks at Georgia governor’s race, where Governor Nathan Deal (R) and Jason Carter (D) are both also in a tie, 45% to 45%.
Both races would head into a runoff if no candidate gets 50% of the vote. Georgia is shaping out to be the state with the races that will keep us all up late on election night. The only other race that is this close on the governor side would be in Michigan and Iowa on the U.S Senate side in terms of how close this race is. The GOP nightmare week has officially been made.
