SurveyUSA is out with a new poll in the U.S Senate race in Georgia that finds David Perdue (R) leading challenger Michelle Nunn (D) by just one point, 46% to 45%. 87% of the Democratic base is supporting Nunn but Independents are break 5:3 for the Republican candidate. Nunn holds a huge advantage with female voters while Perdue holds almost the same lead with women.
In the race for governor, Governor Nathan Deal (R) leads challenger Jason Carter (D) by two points, 46% to 44%. Deal is winning independents 45% to 29%.
