Public Policy Polling is out with a new poll in South Dakota that finds Mike Rounds (R) lead is starting to slip away in the race for U.S Senate against Rick Weiland and Larry Pressler (I). Rounds comes in at 35%, followed by Weiland at 26% and Pressler (I) 24%.
Weiland and Pressler are splitting the anti-Rounds vote. This is primed to be a Republican pickup but if the anti-Rounds vote can unite this month or Pressler support goes over to Weiland it could be just enough to keep the GOP from winning a majority in the U.S Senate.
