Two new polls show that the race for governor of Massachusetts is a dead heat. Suffolk University is out with a new poll that finds Martha Coakley (D) tied with Charlie Baker (R), 43% to 43%.
Another poll conducted by Western New England University poll has Charlie Baker (R) ahead of Martha Coakley (D) ahead by one point, 44% to 43%.
In a year that the Democrats are suppose to make major gains on the governor side, Massachusetts is a big thorn in the side of Democrats. As Democrats battle back in Arkansas to make it a race and just recently retook the lead in Illinois, Connecticut and Massachusetts are starting to trend toward the GOP.
