GOV-MA: Lead Change

A new Boston Globe poll conducted in Massachusetts finds Charlie Baker (R) has taken a lead on Martha Coakley (D) in the race for governor, 40% to 38%.

This is no doubt a sour note for Democrats who are expected to make major gains on the gubernatorial side on election night. Democrats are close to flipping as many as seven GOP held governor seats and are making a comeback in Illinois and Arkansas, the thought that they might lose Massachusetts is shocking to say the least.
