Two polls today confirm bad news for Democrats, Senator Mark Begich (D) is now trailing in his bid for re-election.
Rasmussen survey new poll finds challenger Dan Sullivan (R) leading Senator Mark Begich in the U.S Senate race by five points, 48% to 43%.
Dittman Reasearch survey has Sullivan (R) up by six points, 49% to 43%.
It should be noted that Alaska is extremely hard to poll. Polls since 2000 are likely to be off by as much as 5%. Still this is not great news for Begich, the seat going red would probably kill Democrats chances of holding the Senate unless they hold Arkansas and Iowa.
