Good afternoon everybody!!!!!
GOV-FL: A new Public Policy Polling in Florida finds Charlie Crist (D) has taken the lead over Governor Rick Scott (R), 42% to 39%.
GOV-NE: Nebraska Lt. Governor LaVon Heidrmann (R) has resigned just one day after a court issued a protection order to his sister. He allegedly grabbed and pushed his sister during an argument over their elderly mother. Pete Ricketts (R) will now have to find a new running-mate.
SEN-MI: On Sunday I posted a bunch of polls that spelt bad news for Democrats. Today along with the poll in Florida, Michigan is offering some good news as Democrats battle to keep the U.S Senate seat in Michigan blue. Public Policy Polling finds that Gary Peters (D) has his biggest lead yet over Terri Lynn Land (R), 43% to 36%. If Democrats lose this seat on election night then it is all over, this is part of the firewall the Democrats need in order to hold control of the U.S Senate.
GOV-OH: A new Akron Buckeye Poll in Ohio finds Governor Kasich (R) with a huge lead over Ed Fitzgerald (D), 40% to 21%. The only good news for Fitzgerald is that there is still a large amount of undecided voters, 39%. But with all the recent bad news and political stumbles and shortcomings of the candidate himself, Fitzgerald is probably already dead in the water. Ohio Democratic Party really should of researched him better before giving him the nomination.
SEN-IA: A new poll by Loras College in Iowa finds Bruce Braley (D) is leading Joni Ernst (R) in the race for U.S Senate, 45% to 41%.
