GOV-PA: Landslide Race of 2014

Out of all the state wide races featuring an incumbent this fall, no candidate is in more trouble than Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett (R).  A new Franklin & Marshall poll in Pennsylvania finds Tom Wolf (D) with a 25-point lead over GOV. Tom Corbett (R), 49% to 24%. The biggest takeaway from this poll is that as labor day draws near, voters minds are already made up in this race, they want Governor Corbett out. To make things worse for Corbett, he hasn’t ran a very good re-election campaign. Wolf will no doubt deliver some good news for Democrats come election night.

Fun fact, Corbett would be the first Pennsylvania governor ever to be denied a second term.
