NC-SEN: Senator Hagan (D) still leads in North Carolina

A new Public Policy Polling survey has Senator Kay Hagan (D) leading Republican challenger Thom Tillis (R) 42% to 38%, with the libertarian candidate taking 8%. Bad news for Republicans, Hagan is up only one point if it was a two way race without the libertarian candidate.

The Republicans have a very tough road to winning a majority in the U.S Senate this November if they can not pick up the southern state of North Carolina, which voted for Romney in 2012 and controls the state legislature.
